  I spent it making the sacrifice of participating in the normal Christian rituals my parents wish me to attend. Fortunately, I was able to do my own ritual 4 days earlier on the Solstice so I didn't feel too bad attending theirs.

  ah, my Kindred is back in the San Francisco Area, so I wasnt able to do much than make some offerings to the land/house wights.

    The same for me. I moved up here with the intent of making contact with others in the hope of observing yule with others this year but things happen as they will. I don't believe it's neccesary to have others but I think it must be a good feeling to make offerings with others.
